Simply Fresh has been a feature of Northcote for over 50 years.

It all began as a grocery store before becoming established as The Fruit Shed in the early 80′s. In 1987 it was given the name Simply Fresh. In 1991 it was purchased by the Cater family and from this point the store grew to become the icon it remains today.

 

The Store Today

The store is 400 square metres of fresh fruit and vegetables with a well established reputation for providing the freshest and best value fruit and vegetables in Auckland and with 7 check outs running constantly it is no wonder.

 

Groceries Too

There is a small area devoted to grocery with products being made available that are usually hard to find such as sauces, chutneys and a wonderful array of herbs and spices. Simply Fresh also provides for many local restaurants, schools and rest homes that value the regular supply of fresh produce through it’s growing Wholesale department.
